Summer Instruction
New schedules are available each Spring for our summer curriculum. In August, Dance for Joy holds an Annual Ballet Scholarship audition giving away $1,200 in scholarships to those qualifying ballet students enrolled for the Fall regular dance classes. During the summer Dance For Joy offers shorter dance programs including: Dance Camp for children ages 3-8, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Hip-Hop classes for ages 7 to adult. We also bring in guest teachers to give Master Classes to DFJ students.

Annual Performance
Performing is an option for those students who are ready and would like to dance on stage. We display our students’ talent and confidence through an annual spring performance. Auditions for parts in this production are held late Fall each year. All students are welcomed to participate. For each class your child takes he/she is guaranteed a part in the production. In order for the student to be properly trained for performing, all enrollments must start in the fall for multiple parts in the show. Rehearsals are held on Saturdays, separate from class instruction. These rehearsals begin in late January for the higher levels and in February or March for the lower class levels.
