About Us
Years of Experience
Dance For Joy provides professional dance education in Brielle, NJ. Our instructors are passionate about dancing and fully dedicated to sharing the experience with others.
Our teachers are college educated or certified dance instructors fully equipped to teach your child safely and effectively in a supportive, friendly environment. We have a state of the art studio with raised marley floors (this helps to keep dancers safe from injury). All four of our studios (in one location) have viewing windows for parents to watch classes.

Not only is the staff AMAZING, experienced, and incredibly kind and personable but the entire experience is one of a kind. The perfect balance of professionalism and family. Making decisions for our children can be tough. At the end of last year we made a decision to move our daughter to Dance for Joy after 6 years at her former school. We decided on DFJ after the rave reviews two of my high school students shared with me. We could not be more happy with how much our daughter enjoyed this year of dance. We were absolutely blown away at the recital, what amazing dancers who learn from their super talented teachers. Ending her first year at DFJ she is both happy and sad: happy for the great times she had and all she has learned & sad to say goodbye to her amazing teacher Miss Cory. We could not thank Miss Cory enough for the new found confidence she has instilled in our daughter, in both dance and her daily life. We can’t wait for years of happiness ahead of us at DFJ.

Why choose DFJ?
We are very protective of the youth and innocence of our students, and strongly believe in age appropriate music and costuming. We choose to stay away from two piece costumes. We believe that some children may be uncomfortable in this type of costume and will have a negative dance experience. We want all our students to feel confident in their own skin and hope that dance can positively effect their lives whether they become a serious dance student, stay at the recreational level or decide that dance is not for them. We want every child that walks through our doors to have a true love and appreciation for dance when they leave. This is our job as a dance teacher, and at Dance For Joy we take this very seriously!
